  • Dates: October 2–4, 2026
  • Location: The Historic Howard University, Washington, D.C.

Final Call for Tracks

We invite submissions that align with the following seven conference tracks:

  • Track 1: Innovation, Digital Health, and Implementation Science – Leveraging technology, AI, and implementation science for diaspora populations.
  • Track 2: Community Partnerships, Engagement, and Participatory Approaches – Building trust and ethical collaboration between academic, faith-based, and diaspora-led groups.
  • Track 3: Health Policy, Systems, and Structural Change – Analyzing local and global policies, advocacy strategies, and the leadership of nursing and allied health professionals.
  • Track 4: Workforce Development, Education, and Training – Preparing a culturally responsive health workforce through interprofessional education and pipeline diversification.
  • Track 5: Global, Transnational, and Local Health Connections – Connecting continental African health initiatives with diaspora priorities, including migration and climate impacts.
  • Track 6: Data, Research Methods, and Evidence Generation – Addressing gaps in disaggregated data and supporting early-stage investigators.
  • Track 7: Clinical and Population Health Priorities – Addressing clinical health (mental health, infectious disease, chronic care) while centering art, religion, and culture in healing.

CNAHS FOOD PANTRY

CNAHS PRESENTS: CNAHS FOOD AND TOILETRY PANTRY 

To access the pantry, a request form must be completed for qualitative and quantitative purposes. Please complete the form here: CNAHS Pantry Request Form.

Once your request has been reviewed, you will be contacted to pick up your items. Pantry pickup times are Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Please bring your own bag or box to carry your items.

$2 Million Gift Donated to HU College of Nursing & Allied Health Sciences

A $2 million gift from philanthropists Joanne and William Conway to the College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences – the largest the college has received in its existence – will support three new faculty positions and scholarships for nursing students at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels.
